Structured Cabling & Networking
Cat6/Cat6A Ethernet runs, fiber pulls, patch panels, server racks, and enterprise-grade Wi-Fi (Ubiquiti UniFi, eero Pro). New construction or retrofit.
Common reasons clients call us for cabling & networking.
Every situation is different. Here are the typical scenarios we handle in LA County:
- New construction — pre-wire for future tech
- Working from home — need fast wired connections
- Slow/dropping Wi-Fi in parts of house
- Want enterprise-grade network (Ubiquiti)
- Smart home backbone for cameras + automation
- Office tenant improvement — Cat6 to every desk
- Server room or media room consolidation

No surprises, no add-ons hidden in fine print.
Common questions about cabling & networking.
Cat6 vs Cat6A vs Fiber — which do I need?
Cat6 supports 1Gbps over 100m, plenty for most residential. Cat6A supports 10Gbps over 100m, future-proofs for next-gen ISPs. Fiber is for very long runs (300+ feet) or backbone between buildings.
Do I need to drill through walls?
For retrofit installs: yes, but minimally. We snake cables through walls, attics, and crawlspaces with small access holes that we patch. New construction is much easier — open framing.
What's wrong with mesh Wi-Fi?
Consumer mesh (eero, Orbi) is fine for small homes. Larger homes (3,000+ sqft), thick walls, or smart-home setups benefit from wired backhaul to access points (Ubiquiti UniFi). We design what fits.
